He had already secured the gold medal sitting in first position before his final run. His current score was an amazing 97 of 100. Still, Shaun was determined to once again step it up a notch and show the world that the gold medal was fully earned.

It started out as a funny little gimmick, but the game has been a great success ever since we introduced it on MySnowparks. Gnarshmallow (often misspelled as Gnarshmellow) is the official name of the game. It is a flash game where you basically take a tiny skier or snowboarder down through a level that might be both in the back country and in snowparks or terrain parks. You can hit anything from cliffs to park kickers, rails, boxes, and even a quarter pipe (no halfpipes, yet).

It’s that time of the year again. Everyone that is something in snowboarding or freeskiing is flocking to Aspen, Colorado for the yearly X Games (26 to 29 January). It’s the most prestigious competition you can win in skiing and snowboarding. Period. The athletes are hungry and as always very excited to see the slopestyle course.
Slopestyle is just one of many disciplines at Winter X Games 2012. Big Air and SuperPipe are the two other major desciplines.

Today we have completed the latest release of MySnowparks since the launch last week. If the launch was version 2 of MySnowparks, you can call this version 2.01.
We’ve fixed a lot of minor details and even added a few improvements. The launch was just the beginning, now we intend to continuously improve and iterate in order to make MySnowparks even more useful for all of you.
We are always open to hear your input for coming releases. If you have any ideas or suggestions don’t hesitate to get in touch.
